Pull Up to Launch
Simply unfold the metallic handles and pull up to illuminate your lantern.
Rest Halfway to Dim
As soon as you start pulling up, you will see the light coming out of your lantern. You may only pull halfway if you wish to get a dimmer light.
All the Way Up to Beam Bright
Once you have pulled all the way up you will be provided with 360 illuminations from 30 quality LEDs. Feel free to hang your lantern from a nearby tree.

The lantern’s base is not magnetic as it’s designed for hanging/holding - but secure, robust, and indestructible nonetheless. When collapsed, it’s 4.8 inches (12.3 cm) - smaller than the iPhone mini. And when extended, it’s 7.20 inches (18.3 cm) – smaller than the 90s brick phone.
You can reduce or increase the light by collapsing Vont Camping Lantern or extending its height. So, collapse a bit to dim and all the way to turn off. Fully expand for maximum brightness. We’ve been told it’s like staring into the sun. You’ve been warned. 😎
Ahh, a secret stash. It’s not what you think. The top compartment can be used to store spare batteries for easy access. Twist the top part counter-clockwise, pull up the lid - and voila!
It’s IP44 water-resistant. Meaning, it can withstand splashes and heavy downpours but is not recommended to be used underwater. The real question is, when are you night diving?
You can’t use lithium batteries since they usually have 3.7 V and the voltage should not exceed 1.5 V. But you can still use a rechargeable battery (only with these specs: 1.2V AA Ni-Mh).
Don’t worry! As mentioned, we’ve included 1.5V AA alkaline batteries for your convenience. *Confetti still not included! (Don’t get it? Jump to What comes in each package?)
It can last up to 90 hours. Meaning, it can save you during a 2-week power outage or light up your trek all the way to Everest Base Camp!
