This Privacy Policy describes in greater detail our privacy practices for collecting and maintaining certain information collected about you. This Privacy Policy applies to all versions of our applications, website, and all of our products, services, websites, media forms and/or channels.

  • We may collect certain “in-app” information like time zone, weight and body composition of users, we may also have access to certain recorded information and content, on a device-specific basis, in the cloud;
  • We maintain a helpdesk function for addressing any questions, comments or concerns about the Vont Services. We may access users’ email addresses and any other information they elect to provide as part of responding to such inquiries. This information is only utilized for user support, is stored only for recordkeeping and analytics purposes, and is not otherwise shared;
  • We have a chat function we use to communicate with users;

We may from time to time contact you to remind you about something related to the Vont Services or to inform you of other great services we have in the works through “push notifications,” text messages, emails, a community discussion board, a blog, or similar means. If you do not wish to receive notifications, you will be provided an “opt out” option.

We may also contact our users in other ways such as emails or e-newsletters with promotional materials, coupons or deals. You will be provided an “opt-out” option if you do not wish to take advantage of these communications.

e. Your Rights in Connection with Information that We Collect about You

You have the following rights with regard to information about you:

  • The right to be informed about what kind of information about you is collected, stored, processed and disclosed by us; therefore, we have compiled this Privacy Policy for you.

  • The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or that affects you significantly.

f. Data Retention 

Your Personally Identifiable Information will be erased when: (i) it is no longer needed for its original processing purpose; (ii) you withdraw your consent for us to store your information by deleting your account; (iii) there is no justified reason for the processing of your Personally Identifiable Information and you object to our processing of your Personally Identifiable Information; or (iv) erasure of your Personally Identifiable Information is required in order to fulfill a statutory obligation under the EU, U.S., or state law. Under any of the above-mentioned circumstances, we will make sure your Personally Identifiable Information is erased. You may request us to erase your Personally Identifiable Information verbally or in writing and we have up to one month to respond to any such request.

g. How We Keep Your Personal Information Safe

We use industry-leading administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your information, including but not limited to storing user information in a secure database. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be completely guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. h. General Compliance with Laws 

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 18 unless the children have been granted permission by their parents to use our Vont Services. i. General Compliance with Laws 

Our Privacy Policy complies with the strictest laws on handling of Personally Identifiable Information. Such laws include: the USA’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Third-Party Services

The Vont Services may contain links and content from other users and third-party services. We do not have control over any third-party services or endorse any third-party content or links. If you access any third-party services via the Vont Services, you do so at your sole risk and bear any liabilities therefrom. We advise that you review the terms and policies of third-party services before accessing them.

Miscellaneous

a. Entire agreement

These Terms (and the Privacy Policy and any Additional Terms and policies) constitute the entire agreement in relation to your use of the Vont Services. These Terms supersede any previous oral or written agreements that may have been entered into before them.

b. Waiver

Our failure or delay to enforce a provision under these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of our rights to enforce such a provision later or on similar violations. No waiver under these Terms shall be binding unless it is in writing.

c. Force majeure

If we delay or fail to provide the Vont Services, including shipping your orders and making the website or app available, due to events beyond our reasonable control (for example, riots, pandemic restrictions, earthquake, and acts of God), we will not be liable for any losses arising therefrom.

d. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is found invalid by any applicable law or court, such portion shall be deemed severable, and it shall not affect the remaining valid portions of these Terms.
